A very fine and rare 17th century steel scissor . In the 17th century , certain scissors were crafted to serve dual purposes and were designed as elaborate and functional tools. These scissors, when closed, would resemble a dagger, and they were often embellished with intricate decorations, including handles were decorated with materials like horn or ivory , sometimes accented with metal inlays or engravings. Height 44 cm.

A Neapolitan Santo figure is a religious artwork originated from Naples, often made in the form of saints or other religious characters . 
These specific figures became popular in the 18th. and 19th. century and are often made of wood , with the face , hand and feet polychromed ( painted in multiple colors) , creating a realistic effect.
The addition of glass eyes enchances this realism , giving the figure an intense , almost lifelike expression .

Very fine and impresive Grand Tour bronze of Emperor Augustus Caesar.
Comes on a round marble base and is signed by the foundry Röhrich of Rome .
After the Roman marble sculpture that was found in the ruins of the villa of Livia, Augustus's wife , at Prima Porta and is now at the Vatican Museum in Rome .

Fine pair of mid 19th. century Grand Tour models of the Lateran and Flaminio Obelisks in Rome . Incised with hygroglyphs to all four sides and individual front dedications "OBELISCVS LATERANENSIS" and "OBELISCVS FLAMINIVS" .
In very good condition .
The Lateran Obelisk can found now at the Piazza Giovanni in Laterno .
The Flamino obelisk is at the Piazza del Popolo . Hight 41 cm.
