superb and rare wool and silk tapestry from the beginning of the 18th century after a painting by Teniers Very beautiful tapestry representing a village scene with dancers, pipe smokers and musicians and in the background castles and French gardens The tapestry is signed G WernierRDL and has the Lille (city) stamp The tapestry is lined and in superb condition and can be directly hung in an interior It has kept very beautiful colors with a very red and blue Guillaume Werniers who had settled in Lille died in 1738.
